What to Expect

At Eagle Grove Chiropractic, the staff will welcome you and request that you complete our new patient form. This form may also be printed from our website, giving you the opportunity to have it filled it before you arrive. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition. We will also make a copy of your insurance card in order to check for chiropractic benefits.

Next, the doctor or a chiropractic assistant may perform:

• Computerized foot scan to determine any imbalances in your body.
• SEMG scans which measures postural muscle tone and energy around the spine.
• Thermal scans which uses skin temperature to determine if the nervous system is disturbed.
• Take your vitals.

Dr. Parrott will then have a consultation to discuss your health-related problems, concerns and potential treatment options in order to learn more about you and your condition. He also can determine how chiropractic care will benefit your life style.

After your consultation, Dr. Parrott will perform a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes and flexibility, standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical tests.

Dr. Parrott may take x-rays in order to determine an exact diagnosis and to alert him of any serious spinal conditions.

After all examinations and x-rays are performed, Dr. Parrott will give you a detailed report of findings, answer any questions, and will discuss any recommendations.

Depending on his findings, Dr. Parrott will give you your first spinal adjustment and if a condition warrants, therapy may also be performed.
